Assalaam ‘Alykum,
From Abu Rawdha
To the brothers and sisters
I praise Allah in all conditions, through the test He has subjected upon me since the beginning of this year and up untill now, the latest been the martyrdom of my friend and teacher Sheikh Abu La’aali or more commonly known as Sayyid. I do not complain Him about his blessed death, but I only do weep for myself losing the race we started. May Allah accept him.
I haven’t had contact of the brother for months. And today* receiving the news and his wasiyyah was a complete shock for me. Below I will insha Allah summarise the life of this young brother which has been hidden for most of you – although most of it remains hidden, as he loved it, hidden in the strangeness as a stranger.
Abu La’aali started his studies in religion at the age of fifteen. He excelled in his subjects and mastered in Arabic grammar within few years. Before his last (Islamic colledge) exams he came to an understanding of the falsehood within the education systems and thus completely denounced it. And he threw away his certificates and recognitions. (I could not recall all the shuyookh he studied under, except Shaykh Basheer – the scholar originally from Somalia and who someway joined the struggle there, but later on supported the ikhwani fasiq Hukoomah.) He later concentrated study in circles and in this process sat with few scholars. This period was very short and thus his later studies did not come to a completion due to several reasons, mainly due to the aftermath of September the 11th. He faced many tribulations after this point, and suffered continuous imprisonment and isolations and banishments.
He was a very physically-fit brother. He had infact mastered in South East Asian Islamic (Moro/Indonesian) fighting of Saradah. And was one of the best students of his teacher. He had also done specialist trainings in guerilla and urban warfare from Kashmeeree Mujahideen groups – prior to 9/11.
Also these phases of his life were challenged with his practical implementations of what he believed, and sometimes he retracted from his previous views and changed to what is best evident upon Quran and Sunnah to him. In the early stages he even went through Hizb-at-tahrir and other such groups. And this will be evident from many of his writings, where he refers to these experiences.
To be fare, I should state that he used to treat brothers/ sisters who suffer from Jinn. He used to treat in accordance to Quran and Sunnah, till a later time he got into some matters of shubuhaat, as some believing Jinn came upto him and offered their help in these treatments. But after this he started to suffer from abnormal conditions. Thus I adviced him to give-up these treatments and study on the matter on the basis of Sharee’ah. He later on, after talking to shuyookh from Jihadi circles, announced his Tawbah from this (latter) type of treatment and I Quote him:
Quote:
“… I make it public that I have repented from the connections I had from the Jinns, I do not approve that anyone cure people as I did, I mean with their help. So I have repented from this, all of it.”
(end of his words from his personal will)
As I mentioned earlier, he suffered a lot of imprisonments, and within this were long term house arrests. And it was these times where he started to go through internet Islamic forums. Through which he gifted the brothers with some invaluable knowledge. Sometimes he may say he is leaving for a month, while infact he is been relocated to prison custody or elsewhere. May Allah accept his efforts.
He lived a very hard life due to his continued imprisonments, he could not work and was forced to depend, although he would never try to show his needs, few brothers used to offer him. May Allah reward them.
During his last jail term, the hukoomah, approached him with many tempting, glittering and prestigious offers, which should have given him a worldly title of “Shaykh” or “Aalim” – but for which he openly refused. He divorced this world and its glittering three times, just as he did it before his martyrdom.
He was greatly grieved by the situation of the Ummah especially the sufferings of akhawaat and children. I personally know that he has never lost a copy of the letter of Fatimah (the sister who suffered in Iraqi prison) from his pocket, and after his hijrah to Daaru Ribaat wal Jihaad, he quickly got hold of a copy of it. In his last bayaan given to the brothers, he made it khaas on this topic, and translated the letters of sister Fatima and Nadia and other similar sisters from Kashmeer and elsewhere. And he warned the sincere scholars that there speeches and writing are not giving aid for the suffering of these sisters, and called to back themselves with action. Throughout the speech he wept while always trying to hide it, as is his usual nature.
In a personal wasisyyah he wrote, he stated:
Quote:
I hope that when this letter reaches you I maybe facing Allāh تعالى either to a Heaven of Eternity or a Hell of Punishments, as I fear for the great sins I was in, I hope in Him that He would forgive me for my migration and Jihād and for my offering my body in pieces with His Mercy and Bounty Only.
Dear Brother; each of us would die, and none can hold on to the world, be his intention to serve Allāh سبحانه وتعالى or shaitān. But it is an ordained time which we cannot avoid, thus the one who dies upon Islām and Faith is the one who is victorious.
…
Dear brother if Allāh takes my soul in this Martyrdom operation, then I leave within you my teachings which Allāh taught me from Qurān and Sunnah –if it is upon the Truth- and every mistake is from me and the Shaitān. What Allāh has gave me tawfīq to do is that I left guidelines which you must carry on preaching. Islām doesn’t stand upon the life or the death of anybody. Brother you may find in my belongings some pages in Arabic in which I tried to summarize all what I preached, try to get it translated and as you know the details are already written.
Hold on to the clear path which Allāh taught you through me and others and do not compromise.
I am leaving the world –may Allāh accept me- in the state I love, hidden and in strangeness. I was uncomfortable for the days in which I was treated with more care and respect than the other brothers. I am but a weak voice which tried to illuminate in this darkness. Maybe my enemies would be very pleased to hear about my death –hopefully martyrdom- but my life is not to make them happy or angry, rather to please Allāh سبحانه وتعالى. So if Allāh grants me martyrdom and May Allāh give me, then, I would be in a place where there emotions would not effect me as it is the Gardens with the Maidens. So who would care after this for anything and what is the use of all the striving if not for the pleasure of Allāh.
End of Quote
He was a person who always stood for truth. What was unique that I saw in him was, he was firm against dhulm (oppression) being uttered against anyone – even upon his enemies. If someone utters an unjust word or statement to an enemy – in his presence – he hurries to correct it. He used to say to me, try to rid yourself from even the slightest dhulm – as any trace of it within you might prevent you from hidayah. And this is one of the unique characteristics I found in him – i.e. justness. He did not look down upon a person due to a lack of worldly education. But I did constantly find him questioning and listening to brothers of Taqwa and Eman – although their educational level maybe less than him.
One of his greatest fears was deviation from hidayah – such that his words will be placed as evidence against him on Yawmul Qiyamah.
Before his martyrdom he was translating the speech of shaykh Abu Mus’ab Az-zarqawi فالله أحق أن تخشوه to English, but it was not written upon him to complete it. Like others he was touched with the life and words of Shaykh Abu Mus’ab, and used to call the Shaykh as Salaahuddin of our time. He also translated the speech of Shaykh Usamah bin Laden: Tawjehatul Minhajiyya (2) as an audio recording. Also prior to his hijrah – and may Allah accept it – he tried to translate bits from Shaykh Yusuf al-Uyeri’s Haqeeqatul Harb al Saleeb al Jadeedah.
His later days as a Mujahid, he lived very happily; (he have sung personally two beautiful anashid regarding hoorul ‘een and another regarding istishhaadee operations – but its in his local language) – He constantly used to tell, that he did not find this happiness all his life. He used to do a lot of khidmah to the brothers, infact he served the brothers as the chief cook for the Eid he spent with them. At the same time was trying to get the most by competing in the prayer call and the rest.
He used to talk a lot about martyrdom, and encouraged it (i.e. to talk regarding this topic), and used to refer this to shaykh Usama, who encouraged the Mujahideen to talk their own selves and encourage it for Martyrdom. He used to ask from Umara for permission for a martyrdom operation, but the Umara continuously used to denounce him. Infact the Umara offered him to further his educations under shuyookh of Lajnah of Mujahideen. And I do not know of the events of his later days, other than that he continued his efforts (for a martyrdom operation) till Allah ta’ala blessed him with it.
Within his stay in the fields of Jihad he also excelled in preparations of explosives and science of detonation and also electronics. He was indeed a practical daa’ee.
I have some recording of him reciting the nasheed/ (the full poem) “uqtulooni” and “la tahzanu ya ikhwati” of Shaykh Marwaan Hadeed. And also his 7 page document in his personal hand writing (arabic) which he mentioned in the above quote of wasiyya. I hope that the brothers would upload these and distribute it. He has also given lot of lectures within the field of jihad and before, in his local language, and amongst it is his excellent Khutbah of Eid Adhhah of last year.
As for the last moments of the operation, the brothers narrated to me that, they saw many help and support from Allaah ta’aala including some karamah. Like the room where these brothers stayed had an ‘ajeeb smell of musk – all through it. Even the car which they travelled just before the operation, smelled this same musk – as narrated from brothers.
May Allah accept you O Sayyid, it is as it was told, Shahaadah is nothing but Sidq (truthfulness to achieve it). And Allah offered it and excelled you from others.
Abu La’aali has passed with no worldly titles before his name. Few to know him, and even fewer to understand his emotions. So farwell O Sayyid – for the days of sorrow and pain is over for you. And amongst the Prophets and the Anbiyaa you find your peace. Blessed are the eyes who shed tears for such. For the eye owes rights to shed it upon such. And blessed are the hearts that grieve…
The cup of death has separated you O my beloved friend, but Allaah Willing our meeting is upon triumph.
And this is all what we knew of this Mujaahid, the Student of Knowledge, the Martyr – and Allah knows best and we do not alleviate anyone before Him.
O brothers, hope in Allah, for the winds of Victory has started to blow, this Ummah has seen within the last 12 months the loosing of greater jewels of this Ummah in its highest rate, and verily Victory comes with only the shedding of blood, priced blood. So let us hurry ourselves to its aid before it’s too late and we end up within the ranks of munaafiqeen.
O Enemies of Islam, we do not fear you, we stand firm against you, we sacrifice the best of us in this cause, and this brings us nothing except being closer to victory and slitting of your throats. So burn in your rage and your end shall be it.
With this, I end my letter, I ask your forgiveness as I couldn’t write in more detail, due to lack of time and situation. Please make dua for Allah to accept our brother Sayyid.
And do not forget us in your prayers. O beloved sister of Islam Umm Qahir at-Tuqat – I have not forgotten you – O prisoners – O Abu Khubayb the beloved, O brothers from Canada till Bosnia and Australia and beloved Abu Dujanah, O Abu ‘abdullah Filisteenee and their families and others… O brothers we have not forgotten you.
O prisoners, O beloved… we beg for your forgiveness – for heart weakens and often tend for a smile and bent for a joy – while you remain in the darkness… blurred and lost… lost to the eyes of a world of unjust.
Wassalaam ‘Alykum warahmatullaah.
Al ‘Hāfidh Ibn Kathīr said in Al Bidāyah Wan Nihāyah: (10/276) from Ibn ‘Asākir from the path of An Nadhar bin Shamīl he said: I entered upon Ma’mūn…
Thus he said: How are you O Nadhar?
So I said: Well, O Leader of the Believers.
He said: What is Irjā?
I said: A religion which coincide with the kings, they attain with it from their world and decrease with it from their religion?
He said: You have spoken the truth.
End of Quote.
On the 5th of October 2010 the Rafidite heretic pagan regime of Iran executed three Sunnah Iranians by hanging. Normally the Rafidite regimes terrorizes the Sunnah of Balochestan/Iran by threatening the scholars (who dare to speak out) and the Sunnah activists who dare to spread Sunnah literature and those who openly response to the lies and attacks of the Rafidah Shia cult. Unfortunately the Rafidite regime has been spreading a stereotype all over in Iran, namely that Iranian balochis (virtually all Sunnah), are “only” executed because they are drug smugglers. (As if Balochi stands for drug smuggler, even though mostly non-Iranian Balochis are heavy drug addict and smugglers, like Khamenei and its Rev. guards.)
It is true that the poor Iranian Baloch Sunnis are involved in smuggling at the border region of Iran, (many youth, even though Balochistan is a Sunnah area, are discriminated for being Sunni, thus having almost no chance to make a living by legal means) yet this became literally a stereotype (Baloch being smugglers) that every Balochi Iranian who raises his voice or is been executed is demonized as a “drug smuggler”. Even though many Sunnah Iranians in Balochestan have been executed under the pretext of “smuggling” and what not, in this case you can clearly hear the Basijis and other “Hezbollahi” (Hezbosh-shaitani) Rafidites who know better than all of us, that the crime of those being hanged is their belief, which they -the Rafidah- call “Wahhabism”.
For those who want to know more on the Rafidaah and how they treat our brothers and sisters in Iran, Please visit Sons of Sunnah Iran. Also we should be aware that Sunni Muslims have now been banned from praying in universities in Iran.
Some of what the IFM has wrote in the past has been quite good such as their article on the evils of democracy, however this particular article illustrates several misunderstandings on their part, which I will address briefly given that these are misunderstandings which are also held be many Muslim brothers and sisters.
The author of the article refers to Hizbullah as an "Islamic group" and it seems that that is also his opinion about Ahmadinejad. Yet the fact is that Hizbullah and Ahmadinejad are Raafidah Shias, a kaffir group which has been declared outside of the folds of Islam by the Ulaama . Some examples of the statements of the early scholars regarding this group:
Verdict of Imam Malik: Hafiz ibn Hajar Makki (may Allah have mercy on him) writes in Al-Sawaiq al-Muhriqah, p.294:
“And from this verse, Imam Malik (may Allah have mercy on him), as reported from him, had deduced the verdict of kufr of Rawafid as they show hatred towards the Sahabah. He further states because the Sahabah causes them anger and every individual who is angered by the Sahabah is a kafir. This extraction is excellent as the verse in itself bears testimony to it. Therefore Imam Shafi (may Allah have mercy on him) has agreed with him (Imam Malik) on the verdict of declaring them [Rawafid]kafir and a large group of Imams agreed with him too.”
Verdict of Imam Ahmed:
“Imam al-Khilaal said: ‘Abd al-Malik ibn ‘Abd al-Hamid informed me saying: I heard Abu ‘Abd Allah [Imam Ahmad] say: ‘Whosoever reviles the Companions, then I fear disbelief for him like the Rawafid’. Then he said, ‘Whosoever reviles the Companions of the Prophet, then we do not believe he is safe from having rejected the Religion’.” (Sunnah lil-Khilaal, 3:493)
“Abu Bakr mentions I asked Abu ‘Abd Allah concerning the individual that verbally abuses Abu Bakr, Umar and A’ishah. He replied ‘I do not regard them to be Muslim.’ He further says ‘I have heard Malik say, ‘Whoever verbally abuses the Sahabah of Rasul Allah he has no share in Islam’.” (Sunnah lil-Khilaal, 3:493)
So these people are not Muslims and Hizbullah (Hizbu Shaitain more correctly) is not an Islamic group but a kaffir group who should be fought.
As for the Taghut Ahmadinejad then his kufr is clear. He is at the forefront of oppressing Ahlus Sunnah in Iran and his statements of disbelief are many. For example:
We see in the above video that this kaffir claims that it is the Shia's "hidden Imam" who controls the world, not Allah. This person has also slandered the Sahaba and declared many of them to be kaffir such as the following statement made on Iranian state television: “Talhah and Zubayr were of the Prophets companions, yet after his demise they became corrupted (turned their backs) and followed Muawiyah”.
It seems that the Islamic Foundation like many Muslims are unaware of the kufr of these people and what their real agenda is and rather they are confused by the Rafidaahs pretend support for the Palestians. The Zionist state is of course an enemy of Islam which must be completely demolished, but we should not let our hatred of it confuse ourselves and the saying "the enemy of your enemy is your friend" is not always true.
Hizbullah have tens of thousands of men and advanced weaponry and yet they do not attack Israel. What is stopping them? The fact is that they speak tough in order to garner support and in order to confuse the Muslims but in reality they do nothing and they intend to do nothing. In fact they are a barrier and they prevent the Mujahideen from reaching Palestine in the same way that the Jordanians prevent them from the east and the Egyptians from the south. If Hizbullah where honest then if they wont fight themselves at least they should give a corridor for the Mujahideen to pass through to fight the Jews.
Iran is the same. Almost every day we hear rhetoric about attacking Israel yet this is something of which they have no intention and this is a country which has assisted the US invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan and which wages war on Ahlus Sunnah throughout the world and especially in Iran itself.
The author of the article finished by saying this:
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, a US surrogate in the region wants to undermine the influence of Hezbollah by creating a deep Sunni-Shia divide within Lebanon. Saudi Arabian backed armed men have recently tried to challenge the authority of Islamic group Hamas over the Gaza Strip. Now we certainly agree with the brother in that Saudi Arabia is a US ally and what Islam says about this is that it is major kufr. The scholars of Islam agree that whoever allies with the kuffar against the Muslims is a kaffir like them. Of course this is also the same ruling which is on the Lebanese government and most importantly on the government here in the Maldives. They are a group of kuffar who have left Islam and must be removed. InshaAllah groups such as the IFM will come out and say this and educate the people on it.
As for the "sunni - shia" divide then there is no need to create this as it is something which has existed since the Shia sect broke away from Ahlus Sunnah over 1400 years ago. What this divide really is is not an inter Islamic divide but a divide between Islam and kufr. There should be no unity with the Shia and no desire for such. If a person wants unity with these people then he really does not understand them or else he does not understand Islam.
Hamas was once an Islamic resistance group, but in recent years they have morphed into a nationalist liberation group which dresses itself in Islamic clothing. They have ruled the Gaza strip for some time now and yet they have not imposed Sharia nor have they any intention of doing so. This can be seens by their own statements as pointed out by Sheikh Abu Muhammad Al Maqdisi in his article "Refutation of the statement of the Mufti of Hamas":
Ahmed al-Betawy; Hamas’s representative in the Palestinian council of legislations, said in an interview with “Al-Ghad” Jordanian newspaper on 20/02/2006 Ad, “With regards to the fears for some narrow-mindedness, imposing Hijab (perfect veil), or restricting including the freedoms of women, these fears are not true. We are not a young movement or rabble-rousers, but rather we have a historical extension across the Muslim Brothers group who are known for their moderate ideologies… We will not implement Shari’ah. However we will do as much as possible to adhere to the principles of Islam with wisdom and good advice….”.He said: “Hamas does not ever think of establishing an Islamic state or to implement Shari’ah at this time”.So how can a group who is not imposing or seeking to impose Sharia be described as "Islamic", never mind the fact that they engage in democracy and have said they will recognise the State of Israel and its right to exist. All this opposes Islam clearly.
• Dr. Nasser Ed-Deen Ash-Sha’er, the vice-chairman of Isma’eel Hannya, said: “law is to be imposed on everybody, and whoever does not want law, then he is to go to hellfire”.
I say, please contemplate the way they convert the truth into falsehood. The truth is that whoever does not want THE TRUTH is to go to Hellfire”.
• Reuters, on 23/02/2006, the new head of the council of legislations, Azeez ad-Dweek, said: “The new Palestinian government under the leadership of Hamas is not going to adopt the principles of the Islamic Shari’ah in their daily life, and is not going to close down cinemas or restaurants offering spirituous liquors!”. He said “No one in the Hamas movement intends to implement Shari’ah by force. This is out of the question on our program and we are not going to exercise this”.
I say, what about killing the Muahedeen (Believers in the oneness of Allah) and destroying their mosques, for you there is no harm in exercising it by force… this is always possible on your program… isn’t it…?!
• Ahmed Yaseen was asked: “If the socialist party won, what will your attitude be?
The answer: “Even if the socialist party won, I’d respect the inclination of the Palestinian people…!!
Question: “If it happened to appear from elections that the Palestinian people want a democratic multi-party country, what will your attitude be?”
Sheikh Ahmed Yaseen’s answer: “Oh God! We are a nation who has honor and rights. If the Palestinian nation expressed their refusal of the Islamic state, I respect and magnify their inclination!!”… Please see Ahmed Yaseen, the miraculous phenomenon and the myth of challenge…. (Dar al-Furqan: pp. 116 & 118)
Finally the brother has claimed that those who "challanged the authority" of the Taghut Hamas where in fact backed by Saudi Arabia. Where is the proof and evidence for this? What these groups where doing where fighting to make the word of Allah supreme and when they declared an Islamic State in Gaza Hamas attacked them and slaughtered them inside their Mosque. And these "Salafi Jihadi" groups are the real Mujahideen who inshaAllah will replace Hamas as the dominant group in Palestine and will wipe the state of Israel from the face of this earth with the Permission of Allah.

Democracy is a system of infidelity which opposes the decree of the Creator and an evil that was born and raised in the lands of the West. Islam and democracy can not coexist in the religion of Allah, the Lord of all the worlds.
There is no such thing called ‘Islamic Democracy’ as some people put it because those people who adopt, implement or approve and agree to espouse democracy with its basic principles and fundamentals are openly hostile to the faith of monotheism.
When democracy is implanted in a Muslim society, it becomes a trial which sets apart the faithful Muslims from hypocrites and apostates. Those Muslims who take it upon themselves to fight and defend democracy without a religiously compelling reason hate to see Islam triumph over all other way of life. Most often they love to be in the company of the infidels, hypocrites or apostates and be praised by them while calling themselves ‘moderate Muslims’. There is no such thing as ‘moderate Islam’ or ‘radical Islam’ in the revealed religion of the Almighty Allah. These are terms invented by the enemies of Islam to create divisions within the nation of Islam.
If someone deeply looks into democracy, he will realise its damaging aspects on any society. Democracy which emerged in the lands of the infidels demands the separation of powers: the executive, the legislative and the judiciary are to function as completely separate entities. Moreover, democracy aims to change the established Sharia and demands to keep separate the religion and the state, which is unacceptable in Islam. In a democracy, the secular majority wins and rules over the divine commandments. If an undesired group or party wins power through elections, then the election results are annulled and the constitution is amended to bar that party from competing in elections again. Such examples could be seen in Algeria, Turkey, Palestine and Kenya.
Democracy spurs sedition and discord by gathering people in parties and blocs, the consequences of which would be hatred, fighting and bloodshed. Huge sums of money are required for the working and functioning of political parties. In most democracies, the murky business of obtaining funds for political parties involve corruption, bribery and selling of state secrets. The electoral campaigns comprised of boasting, showing and presenting one’s deeds and withholding from others the deeds that they are due, as well as the use of falsehood and deceit in order to gain people’s votes.
Democracy makes the entire people equal, as there is no difference between a knowledgeable specialist and an ignorant person, an eminent scholar of Islamic theology and an illiterate drug addict, a monotheist and a polytheist, a believer and a hypocrite, an adulterer and a pious man, a child rapist and a holy person. The proper functioning of democracy demands that most criminals have to be ‘rehabilitated’ and not punished for heinous crimes. The prisons in these countries should include gyms and other sports or recreational facilities, swimming pools, libraries with internet services, the best food, medicals etc. To add more, there is a system of parole which allows the criminals to leave the ‘prison’ before the end of their sentences.
Democracy is a system that wastes money and resources of the countries in the elections. These elections are filled with problems of intimidation, fraud, ballot rigging and other irregularities. No interim government is allowed to take over before fresh elections begin; instead the old leadership remains in power during and immediate aftermath of new elections, paving way for more social unrest. Many a times the opposition refuses to accept the election results with accusations of fraud and call on people to come out on streets to protest causing pandemonium and bloodshed. You will realize the deficiency of this democracy and its reprehensible failure to manage people’s affairs when those in the opposition constantly call for premature elections, along with its ensuing chaos and disorder.
Democracy leaves the door wide open for spoilers and all the undesired elements in the society to carry on with their work of spreading mischief in the land. Also democracy coexists with the oppressive regimes and the spoilers of social life with all its constituents. Gay and lesbian rights movements, narcotics and other substance abuse groups would spring up into action. Therefore, homosexual marriages, selling of intoxicants and the right to renounce Islam have to be allowed under the guise of protecting human rights. Hence, a need for legislation to regulate all such cursed acts and behaviour which in tern produces deputies who pass on laws against the prescribed laws of Almighty God.
In a democracy candidates jockey for positions of power with promises which they do not keep after winning the election. The candidacy for elections is contrary to the guidance of Prophet Mohamed (PBUH) who said that Muslims do not confer the command of an emirate on he who asks for it. Less privileged or deprived people have no chance of being on the electoral lists because becoming a candidate requires spending huge amounts of money in order to get people’s votes, which apparently go to the one who pays out more for bribery or propaganda work on the media. So, in a democracy money can buy positions of power, as such, the seats of the legislature or parliament mainly consists of people from the upper class or people backed by them. It is absolutely impossible to enact any laws in urging their businesses to spend money in a way that might benefit the poor. The reality is, the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.
The most prominent people in a democracy are the politicians. The pious scholars of Islam, renowned scientists and men of knowledge have to follow the guidelines set by these politicians. Some of these so called politicians occupy seats in the cabinet, parliament and others work as party activists etc, but the truth is, they are ‘political prostitutes’. Most often they shift from one alliance to another or change parties and is devoid of any shame in behaving so for their worldly gains.
If you take a closer look at democracy, you will realise the deficiency and failure of that system to manage the people’s affairs and elect leaders capable of running the country in a way which benefits the masses. You will also undoubtedly ascertain the appropriateness of the Islamic way in generating the leaders and appointing rulers or emirs.
It is wrong to say that Muslim lands had been ruled by dictators or authoritarian rulers in the past centuries. The revealed Holy Scripture of the Muslims instructs the rulers to rule justly by obeying the commandments of Allah and with consultation (shura). Throughout history the Muslims always had Consultative Assemblies comprised of learned men to advice those in power. The idea of dictatorship, authoritarianism, monarchy or royal dynasty rule began to creep into the Muslim lands when Muslim masses influenced by the West began to forget the proper method of statehood in Islam.
The Maldives have been ruled for quite a long period of time by authoritarian rulers with the power to enact draconian laws through the rubber stamp parliament. The Maldivian people were sick and tired of their ruling elites, their extravagant behaviour, nepotism and corruption etc. The rampant moral degeneration, drunkenness and drug addiction made the Maldivian society plunge into chaos in the years between 2003-2008. The opportunity was ripe for the irreligious people who opposed the authoritarian regime to manipulate the situation by calling on the West to impose democracy on Maldives amid threats of economic sanctions. There were many who thought that after democracy had been installed the problems created by the old authoritarian regime would disappear once and for all. However, in addition to those social problems that already remain, democracy has begun to create more problems in people’s lives by dividing the masses into parties or groups. More often, rival factions compete for influence within the same party and today the so called political parties in Maldives are on the verge of bankruptcy or collapse and state funding is insufficient to keep them functioning. Soon the political parties in Maldives have to rely on foreign donations and grants of which the most likely consequence of this would be foreign control. Money can buy power, so if the West decides to bring a certain opposition party into power, they increase funding for that particular party. In addition to all these problems, the party in power and the opposition parties are always at each other’s throats, as a result the ordinary people have to bear the brunt of the entire disharmony or disruptions within the community.
The so called democrats in Maldives claim that they were the only ones who worked tirelessly to bring an end on nearly half a century of oppression. They say that these religious mullahs and bearded fundamentalists only acted like timid chickens and were unable put up a formidable resistance even to defend their ideals. They dare to say that these religion mongers kept hiding behind the backs of prodemocracy activists just to gain favours when everything happens to be over. If so, then why for the past three decades countless number of Muslim scholars, bearded men who offered five daily prayers and burqa clad women continuously ended up in jail or in house arrest? Where were the prodemocracy activists and human rights campaigners then when breast feeding mothers were taken into police custody on the suspicion of trying to endanger religious harmony? The so called prodemocracy activists only emerged during or after September 2003 when a violent drug addict was beaten to death by prison guards and the shooting incident there which killed some few other drug related criminals. It was so because the democrats got convinced that the authoritarian ruler faced pressure from the West to allow political parties to be formed in the Maldives. The democrats might try to argue that they were in opposition since the early 1990’s. It is a wrong notion to say that they were campaigning for democracy then. The voices raised in those days were not for democracy but for reform or perhaps for change of power. Those voices then got disappeared into the wilderness because they were not backed by the West.
Spread of democracy in Muslim lands is a victory for diabolical forces of Jews and Christians who spend vast amounts of money and sacrifice much to keep Muslims divided.

Recently I came across a blog hosting site called muslimblogs.com and I thought that this was an excellent chance to be able to blog about real Islam without having to worry about being censored. However it turned out that this is not the case.
After posting 2 posts on the issue of Jihad, I had them and all user comments deleted (and also another article about Al Wala Wal Bara) and I received the following email from muslimblogs:
Aslaam U Alikum,I agree that there are thousands of different issues related to Islam which we can write about. But it must also be noted that Jihad is one of those issues and as Muslims we do not hide any part of Islam. We've recieved two warning mails, one from Google and other from Hosting site. Google is saying they will block MuslimBlogs.com site in their search engines. Our hosting site is also saying that they will not continue to host our site, if we remain continue publish Jihadi material. They clearly state your blog name: maldives.muslimblogs.comFor that reason, we're deleting all your posts related to Jihad. There're hundred and thousands of things about Islam, you can write about. For security of our bloggers, we're deleting your posts. In future, if we found any such posts, we'll permanently disable your blog.I hope you understand.MohammadContent ManagerMuslimBlogs.com
The Prophet told us that Jihad is the peak of Islam and there are many other ayats and ahadith which talk about its benefits. Yet a so called Muslim hosting site refuses to let us promote this beautiful part of our dean. If we followed what the brother said in his email above then the blog would have been deleted for simply posting particular ayats or surahs from the Quran.
The religion of Islam is complete and we are proud of every part of it and we refuse to not speak about subjects such as Jihad, Al Wala Wal Bara, Enjoining good and forbidding evil or any other part of Islam just because the kuffar dont like it.
Sadly we have had to switch the blog to blogspot as despite it being kuffar owned, there is much more freedom here to talk about the religion as it was actually revealed.
To the brothers at MuslimBlogs I would say to fear Allah and accept the religion in its totality as He (SWT) said:
This day have I perfected your religion for you, completed My favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion.
Surah Al Maidah 5:3
And do not to hide any part of Islam in order to make it more kuffar friendly as Allah said:
'What, believe you in part of the Book and deny part thereof? And what is the reward of those who do so except ignominy in the present life, and on the Day of Resurrection to be returned unto most grievous punishment' al-Baqarah 2: 85
“Here, we are not fighting for a handful of dirt, nor for some imaginary borders drawn by Sykes-Picot; likewise, we are not fighting here to replace a Western Tāghūt, with an ‘Arab Tāghūt. Rather, our Jihād is loftier and higher. Verily, we fight to make the Word of Allāh, the Highest, and to make the Dīn entirely for Allāh.
“And fight them until there is no more fitnah (shirk), and the religion (worship) will all be for Allāh (in the whole of the world).” [Al-Anfāl: 39]
So anyone who opposes this aim, or stands in the way of this goal – then he is an enemy of ours, and a target of our swords, regardless of what his name or lineage is.
Verily, we have a Dīn which Allāh has sent down as a Scale and Judge. Its statement is decisive, and its verdict is not a joke.
This is the relationship which we have with mankind. Thus, our standards - and praise is to Allāh - are Heavenly, and our verdicts are Qur’ānic, and our decisions are based upon the Prophetic Law. The American Muslim is our brother, beloved; and the Arab apostate is our enemy, despised – even if he and we came out of the same womb.”
